As you step off the plane and into the vibrant warmth of Costa Rica, our adventure officially begins.

A private transfer will take us to our comfortable hotel in San José, where we can unwind after our journey and soak in the excitement of what’s to come. 

The evening kicks off with a welcome dinner, where we’ll meet our fellow travellers, share introductions, and receive an overview of the incredible experiences ahead.

This first night is all about settling in and embracing the energy of adventure.

Our first full day begins with an excursion to Poás Volcano National Park, home to one of Costa Rica’s most breathtaking craters. Take in the surreal beauty of the landscape. The journey continues with a stop at the picturesque La Paz Waterfall, where cascading waters meet dense jungle, and a visit to a bird café, where vibrant hummingbirds and toucans create a dazzling display as we enjoy a warm cup of Costa Rican coffee.

Arriving in Tirimbina Rainforest Reserve, we’ll have time to explore the jungle at our own pace before embarking on an exhilarating guided night hike. As darkness falls, the rainforest transforms into a completely different world, alive with the sounds of frogs, insects, and nocturnal creatures. With expert guides leading the way, you’ll spot tree frogs, bats, and perhaps even a shy sloth as you immerse yourself in the magic of the jungle after dark.

Today, prepare for one of the most thrilling experiences of the trip—a full day of white-water rafting on the Pacuare River, renowned as one of the world’s best rafting destinations. With expert guides leading the way, we’ll navigate heart-pounding rapids, carving through towering canyons, past lush jungle, and alongside hidden waterfalls. The rush of adrenaline, combined with the awe-inspiring beauty of the landscape, creates a truly unforgettable adventure.

Between the exhilarating rapids, we’ll float through calmer stretches where we can take in the pristine rainforest, watch for monkeys swinging in the trees, and listen to the calls of tropical birds echoing through the jungle. As the day comes to an end, we’ll return to our rainforest lodge, feeling a deep sense of accomplishment and connection to the untamed beauty surrounding us.

After the high-energy adventure of rafting, today begins on a sweeter note with a chocolate tour at Tirimbina. We’ll walk through cacao plantations, learn about the history and traditional process of chocolate-making, and of course, indulge in the rich, freshly made chocolate. This immersive experience provides a deep appreciation for one of Costa Rica’s most treasured exports.

From there, we’ll travel to La Fortuna, a charming town at the base of the majestic Arenal Volcano. As evening falls, we’ll soak in the Paradise Hot Springs, a tranquil oasis of natural, mineral-rich pools surrounded by tropical gardens. Under the stars, we’ll let the warm waters melt away any lingering tension, embracing the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

The morning kicks off with an exhilarating zip-lining adventure, where we’ll soar through the rainforest canopy, taking in breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano and the lush jungle below. Flying from platform to platform, we’ll feel an incredible rush of adrenaline, a moment of pure freedom that captures the spirit of this wild journey.

After we will have free time to explore the town of Arenal, where you can browse local markets, savour Costa Rican cuisine, or simply relax. The day ends with a visit to a hidden hot spot you are sure to love!

Today, we will trade the rainforest for the stunning Pacific coast with a scenic six-hour drive to Manuel Antonio, a paradise of turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, and lush jungle.

Along the way, we will pass through diverse landscapes, from rolling green hills to charming coastal villages, stopping for breaks to stretch and take in the changing scenery.

Settle into our hotel, offering panoramic ocean views. The afternoon is yours to relax—perhaps by lounging by the pool, taking a sunset beach walk, or indulging in a fresh seafood feast while listening to the sound of the waves.

Today is completely yours to spend as you wish.

Whether you choose to relax on the beach, explore the local town, or take part in an optional adventure like surfing, kayaking, or paddleboarding, this day is all about embracing your personal wild side.

For those craving serenity, a hammock with an ocean view or a beachfront massage might be the perfect way to spend the day. If you’re eager for more wildlife encounters, a short walk may lead you to playful monkeys, slow-moving sloths, and vibrant macaws.

A guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park offers an up-close look at Costa Rica’s incredible biodiversity. As you wander through the lush rainforest trails, your guide will point out hidden wildlife, from camouflaged iguanas to tiny red-eyed tree frogs. The trail eventually opens up to pristine beaches, where the jungle meets the sea in one of the most breathtaking natural settings imaginable.

After your guided tour, you’ll have free time to relax on the park’s secluded beaches, swim in crystal-clear waters, or hike additional trails. With the sounds of nature all around you, this day is a true celebration of Costa Rica’s wild beauty.

Our final full day begins with a catamaran tour, gliding along the Pacific coast past rocky outcrops and hidden coves.

We will stop for snorkelling, where we might spot tropical fish, manta rays, or even sea turtles. With the sun shining overhead and the salty breeze in our hair, this morning is all about enjoying the beauty of the open sea.

In the afternoon, we will return to San José, where a special farewell dinner awaits.

This final evening is a time to reflect, share stories, and celebrate the unforgettable experiences you’ve had together.
