Arrive in Gran Canaria and enjoy a comfortable transfer from the airport to your hotel located in San Augustin, in the sunny south of the island, where you can settle in.  

We’ll meet early evening to enjoy a welcome dinner to get to know each other and cover the basics of our adventure ahead.

Start the day with a visit to the stunning Barranco de Las Vacas in the municipality of Agüimes. Known for its unique rock formations and captivating interplay of light and shadow, this narrow canyon is a photographer’s paradise. Its textured walls, earthy tones, and natural shapes create a magical setting for striking images. 

In the evening, we head to Roque Nublo, a sacred site for the island’s ancient aborigines. This towering monolith, believed to have been an observation point, offers breathtaking views. Watch and capture the sunset from this iconic spot, with Tenerife's silhouette visible on the horizon, creating an unforgettable natural spectacle.

Our day begins with a visit to Mogán, where we’ll take a walking tour through the charming old fishing district, ending at the dock where traditional artisanal fishing is still practiced.  

It’s then on to explore Puerto de Mogán, affectionately called “The Venice of the Canary Islands,” renowned for its picturesque canals, colourful buildings, and vibrant marina.

In the afternoon, we’ll head to Maspalomas for lunch and some time to explore the charming town. It's then on to capture some shots of the seafront and the iconic lighthouse against the Atlantic horizon.

We'll then head towards the Dunes of Maspalomas, a striking desert-like landscape by the sea. Part of a protected nature reserve, this unique ecosystem blends rolling dunes, a lush palm forest, and the serene Charca de Maspalomas lagoon, offering a stunning contrast between the desert, oasis, and ocean. Arriving here for golden hour, we'll have plenty of time to photograph the landscapes until sunset.

It's an early start today as we head to La Garita Blowhole in Telde, a fascinating volcanic formation on the coast, for sunrise. Here, waves filter into underground cavities and forcefully erupt through a natural rock chimney, creating dramatic columns of water and foam that can soar several meters high.

After plenty of time capturing this natural wonder, we'll journey to Vegueta, the historic heart of Las Palmas, where we’ll explore the elegant colonial architecture of the Vegueta-Triana district and landmarks like the Cathedral of Santa Ana. 

Here we’ll also take a lunch break to savour local Canarian cuisine before heading back to the hotel to relax or have a casual workshop.

After a final group breakfast, depart from the hotel and enjoy a comfortable transfer to the airport, ensuring you arrive in plenty of time for your flight home. Safe travels!

If you pay in GBP or CAD, this email will be from MANGOPAY or Airwallex respectively (who act on behalf of WeTravel).

This is simply to confirm that we have set up a direct debit with you.

Payments will be debited from your bank account and will appear on your bank statement as either GC, MANGOPAY, Airwallex or WeTravel, (depending on your country).

If you need to manage your payment methods at any time (change default payment method, remove payment method) you can either click "Manage booking" from your confirmation email, or you can log in, and go to Account > Payment Methods, at any time.
