I have just returned from an incredible 17 days experience with Way To Travel in Vietnam. I had been looking forward to this trip since I booked a year ago to be faced with flight problems due the Middle East issues. But I managed to rebook 2 days before leaving at a ridiculous cost but boy was it worth it! The group was led by locals and includes seeing the sights with some authentic immersion and some volunteering within local communities - making positive changes to their lives. Being my first solo trip I was very anxious but was made extremely welcome by the locals and my new found 'family' of likeminded travellers. My first time in Asia was incredible and has me wanting to visit and explore other areas and this was all down to the amazing hosts and professional organisation of Way to Travel. I met wonderful people, ate wonderful food ( all restaurants and places we stayed had been thoroughly vetted by the leaders and I was extremely impressed with. I cannot recommend Way to Travel highly enough and 5 *s is not enough. Thank you Way to Travel , Jane and Harry .

I had an absolutely wonderful time on this trip. So many highlights its hard to name them all. The safaris were so fun and bonded us as a group. Elly and Johnny were magnificent guides and shared a wealth of information and insights into the wildlife of Africa. The Ngorongoro was breathtaking, I have now seen the Big Five, although the black rhino was hard to spot! So fabulous to see and learn about the Maasai Tribe, their culture and place in Tanzania. The sunset cruise was so much fun, dancing and singing and a fabulous feast - honestly my heart and soul were front and center, and that's a great feeling for sure! Other highlights were the feast on the beach, the spice farm tour, and the coffee experience. The add on of a balloon ride experience over the Serengeti was a once in a lifetime unexpected experience with a champagne celebration and magnificent bush breakfast. I love these tours mainly because of the give back experience, and this was disorganized and disappointing. Our group was eager to help and participate - we could have done so much more. The add on trip to Zanzibar was wonderful, but again disorganization and poor communication left us frustrated. There were areas of the hotel, different places to have breakfast and other pools we could have enjoyed, but didn't know about. The fact the hotel was without electricity and water was a small price to pay for the fabulous room/patio/view we had. We spent a lovely day at Paje beach, and it would have been nice to have a hotel close to this part of Zanzibar. It was a long drive from where we were staying. I would have appreciated a well guided tour of Stone Town also.

Hi Maureen Thanks so much for taking the time to write your review which is much appreciated. I'm glad that you enjoyed the trip so much and that you had so many highlights. We have had a lot of feedback on the chicken coop project and it really has helped us make plans for the next time. This was a first for everyone involved and that led to quite a bit of confusion and lack of coordination. There was also some cultural issues with the project manager not being entirely comfortable watching a group of older women wanting to get stuck in with building work! We've moved hotels on Zanzibar- the Pili Pili complex was great when I was there but the customer service end clearly left a lot to be desired since I was there in 2025. Thank you again for choosing EVA Travel and I hope we'll see you again in the future. Sheila

This trip was a terrific experience. We were 8 extraordinary women, all around the same age, and our host, Carmen, was also an extraordinary woman. None of us knew the others before we arrived in Cambodia, and it turned out we all got along famously and laughed easily and often with each other.. The tour was very well planned with a number of educational activities intermingled with lots of fun and exploration. Carmen was and is a terrific host. She almost always had a genuine smile on her face, even when gingerly eating a fried worm. She looked out for all of us and rolled seamlessly with unexpected changes, problems with screeching hotel safe alarms and air conditioning that just wouldn't stay on in crazy hot and humid weather. We had an amazing guide throughout our journey in Cambodia -- Narin. Narin was warm, kind, serene and a pleasure to be with for our trip. He kept a watchful eye over all of us, and made extra efforts to be helpful and resourceful. I would travel again with Carmen and Narin in a heartbeat. Sheila put together a great trip. She was in frequent contact with Carmen, and she even took the time to call me (from Uganda!!) to help with a personal issue which came up for me. I truly appreciated Sheila's terrific trip planning, having vetted each aspect of the trip herself, her constant involvement even when half way around the world on another trip. But I do have to say Shiela, what you are doing and have done is really great, but you also need to sleep once in awhile and remember to take care of yourself too. The only thing I wish had been a bit different would have been more information in the tour materials about the physical challenges unique to the places to be visited. Cambodia has A LOT of steps/stairs which presented challenges for me due to physical limitations (and the steps are never of equal depth -- some were a huge step, some little narrow ones, and there isn't a handrail in sight.) Having more information would not have changed my decision to go on this great trip, but I would have known about and be prepared for those activities I was unable to participate in. I highly recommend EVA Travel and the tour of Cambodia. Just do it!

Hi Cynthia I am so glad that you enjoyed your tour in Cambodia and I promise I do sleep fairly often! We have a brand new website under development and close to being finalised, so the physical exertion level guidance will be much more clear for future trips. I hope to see you one day out on another EVA tour. And don't forget, you can contact me directly for any questions about the tours. I've been on them all and can help people get a very clear idea of what is involved on the tours Sheila

I apologize for being late with this response, but I am seeing how much you rely on feedback and want mine to be included in your decisions for future trips. This trip exceeded all my expectations. The daily excursions, our host Tina, as well as our drivers were exceptional. The Safari days were especially inspiring and surprising with seeing so many animals close up in their natural habitat was a completely new experience for me. Tina was the glue that held our group together. She was pleasant energetic and positive, always ready to help, advise, and give suggestions if needed. She enjoyed and led spontaneous singing and dancing with our group and interacting with the locals. Phillippina was also a huge help to me in working out travel details before I even arrived and after I left. Kudos to her as well. I am proud to say I was a part of this organization that gives back to the countries they visit. It is a challenge I'm sure, to set these trips up, but I feel worthwhile in the long run. Thank you for organizing and constantly reshaping this organizing to be better.

It was a great trip overall. The Cambodian guide, Narin, was the best. I was less impressed by the guides in Laos. Carmen was also an excellent host, and was able to adjust quickly to changes as they came up, as well as handle individual traveler issues. It's not entirely clear to me what aspects of the trip apply to Inspired, but the trip was well put together, we adjusted a few things on the fly which I appreciated. The last day in Laos there was too much planned, starting with a very early morning, then a few other things got added, and we all had to fit in packing. On days with an early start, I would suggest a break mid day or evening free. I'm glad to hear there is an effort to not use so many apps, and bring it all into one app/website. It was a bit much to have to look in so many places.

Hello Terry Thanks for your very helpful review. We try very hard through the Facebook groups, messages, blogs and calls to explain the relationship with Inspired but I can certainly understand any confusion about Inspired. EVA Travel was set up by me in September 2024 with the intention of running 3 tours to Tanzania and Morocco. There was no plan to set up a global travel company and I quickly learned that I needed the financial, legal and customer support structure of an established company as the demand for volunteer holidays grew very quickly. I initially worked with Inspired Ventures Limited for those support structures, but it became clear that Inspired were an ideal partner for me. So I still run the EVA Travel end of things, planning the trips and managing the volunteer opportunities. Inspired take care of the backroom functions and provide that essential operator financial failure protection. Our partnership was formalised in August 2025 and together we look forward to doing great things. But I remain the key contact within EVA Travel and always available if anyone needs information or just to chat. Thanks for your support and I am glad that overall you had a great trip Sheila
