I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Uganda. The itinerary was great. Loved working with the local community. It was very special. The food was healthy and i especially appreciated accommodating my food challenges. Loved the safaris, the walking safari was great and QE Park. The gorillas were amazing. The accommodation was good to great. Some better than others but still acceptable. The Nile River camp was a bit basic with bathrooms quite a walk away, not fun especially in the night. The bus on safari was too small for 8 as 7 in the back one in the front. When the roof was up we had one extra in the back with no seat. One seatbelt in the back was broken. Last but not least, our guides. They were fantastic, especially Ananias who was constantly there for us, making sure our experiences were safe and going out of his way to make it memorable.

Absolutely awesome experience. So many NGO’s are working tirelessly to improve the lives of those who are vulnerable, abused, abandoned, poverty stricken. We saw people who don’t have “stuff” and we call them poor but the people of Uganda have the warmest hearts and the biggest welcome. Our accommodation ranged from fine to fabulous. The food was delicious - no one had tummy troubles. The trips and safaris were breathtaking and seeing the gorillas in their natural habitat was truly amazing. Just go!

I have enjoyed everything about this trip. Very move during the first week with the time spend with some members of the community. The second week with the animal was also superb. A safari which complement the emotional first week. Uganda is a fantastic destination, I will probably go back again.

We had a great time. The experience will never be forgotten. The accommodation varied widely. With Buffalo lodge and Bird nest lodge being our favorite. The food the first week lacked variety but the second week made up for it. The vehicle the first week offered lots of space while the vehicle the second week needed to be larger for our group size and needed working seatbelts. Also a nice added feature would have been a cooler to keep water cold. All in all we enjoyed our trip and would recommend it
