We will be waiting for you at Kilimanjaro with open arms, a big warm smile and freshly brewed coffee.

While we sit and enjoy a coffee and some snacks we will give you a quick briefing on what to expect over the coming days.

When ready, we shall transfer you to Osiligiliai Massai Lodge, where you will have your first true immersive experience of the trip. You will spend the afternoon learning about life with a Maasai tribe before watching the sun set over Mount Meru.

We will then all gather round the fire while we listen to Maasai stories before eventually retiring for some delicious traditional cuisine.

Tonight you will stay in a traditional Maasai Hut. But fear not! It has an ensuite and running water as well as a beautiful view of Kilimanjaro!

Walking with Elephants

Step into the shoes of local farmers as we traverse the scenic trails of the beehive fence. This immersive hike offers you the unique opportunity to witness first-hand the innovative solutions employed to foster peaceful coexistence with wildlife.

Along the way, you'll meet the welcoming local community and see how these practices are implemented in harmony with nature.

Our adventure continues with a visit to the inspiring NARI Women Beekeepers, a dynamic group of 36 women revolutionising community conservation efforts. Here, you'll participate in hands-on activities such as honey processing and wax candle making.

Additionally, you'll support their permaculture initiatives, gaining appreciation for their dedication to sustainable living.

Spending the day with the PAMS team grants you an exclusive glimpse into the rich tapestry of local life, an experience few visitors have the privilege to enjoy. This is more than a tour; it's an invitation to understand and contribute to the preservation of Tanzania's natural splendour.

We will then continue on to our accommodation arriving mid afternoon, in time for an optional hike to the local waterfall. Beware! It involves walking up the river! It’s a great way to enjoy stretching the legs after the drive though.
