It was amazing!!! From the food, to the accommodations, to the people. Words cannot even describe the experiences. ❤️ I had such a blast and highly recommend the trip. We saw so much and it totally exceeded my expectations. Time flew past way too quickly. So if you think about going, do it. 

Migration Tanzania Safari with Bea Adventurous Feb 2026

An activity-packed trip mixing gut-punching discoveries (remainder of landmines in Cambodia and left-over cluster bombs in Laos) with mind-exploding experiences (sunrise over Ankor Wat and walking with elephants in Cambodia and visiting the brand new Art of Laos gallery).
The 8 fellow travelers made it an entertaining group and much fun was had by all.

This was a fantastic trip!  Amazing group of women, who love to travel and experience different cultures, with a give back component that leaves you feeling like you made a tiny difference in the world!

This was an amazing trip to two totally different countries. The activities were well planned and I felt supported the whole trip. I have met some wonderful people, both on the trip and at the places we visited. Would definitely recommend this trip. 

Had a good time on the SheClicks Iceland trip.
Saw beautiful scenery, learned how to photograph the Northern Lights from friendly and helpful photo tour leaders , experienced all sorts of weather (sunny in the morning, blizzard by evening) and had an interactive, helpful and entertaining guide

Wonderful trip. Our Icelandic guide Hanna was superb and the whole experience was memorable. Thank you. 

I was so pleased with everything we were able to see and photograph. We had an excellent guide/Denver who worked diligently around the weather to get us in locations to shoot and for rest stops. Our two leaders were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It was great touring with the group of women we were with. Lots of fun! 

This was my trip of a lifetime and I can’t recommend EVA Travel enough for the planning and care taken to see that we have a wonderful time.  Unfortunately, I took ill during the trip which is frightening when you are in a foreign country.  Sheila made sure all my needs were met and that I got the care I needed.  I am forever grateful to her. On top of everything, war broke out while we were away and Shiela  made sure all of our flights  were rearranged and were able to get home safely.  Sheila was professional, easy to relate with and she does her research to make sure you have the trip of a lifetime.  Seeing the  sights plus volunteering is an amazing way to see a country and give back at the same time.  I highly recommend EVA Travel.

EVA Travel - Uganda and Rwanda - February 2026

Our Uganda Rwanda trip was an adventure of a lifetime from volunteering to gorilla & chimp trekking. The tour was packed with fun, well organized and value priced. Sheila our tour guide went above and beyond to attend to my sick friend on the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

This was one of best vacations I have every had!  We saw so many wonderful things in both Uganda and Rwanda, all drivers and guides were exceptionally knowledgeable and more than willing to share information about their country.  Tour leader Sheila was the best!  She always kept us informed of upcoming activities, start times, etc. and made the trip easy.  I highly recommend an EVA Travel for everyone - the volunteering portion was as wonderful as the tourism portion.  I am going to sign up for a trip next year!!


Another amazing adventure curated by Catherine Edsell.   The Whale Shark Retreat is a perfect mix of exhilaration relaxation and ocean conservancy.  Each day started with yoga and a delicious breakfast followed by a morning on the ocean with the most proficient and knowledgeable whale shark safari guides. Unfortunately there were not many sharks to be seen but when one was spotted it was one of those experiences I will never forget.  Thank you to Yousef for literally taking my hand to make sure i saw the elusive one.  I particularly loved learning about and documenting the health of local coral reefs. I went to Bali after this and the coral is much healthier around Mafia so it is great snorkeling.  Catherine always has her antennae up for new and improved experiences, she was able to get an adorable woman to teach us weaving, a group of local people to come sing and dance with us, and a tailor to make traditional outfits.  Afternoons were mostly spent with different activities designed to help us reflect on the past year and create a clearer path for the next (meditation, journaling, circling etc) The accommodations were lovely, clean, comfortable with wonderful staff!  Thank you to Catherine for sharing your passion with me.  

The Whale Shark Retreat

Hi there,  I am thrilled that I took this trip. It was the first time I ever went on any kind of group tour, as I've always traveled alone in the past, and it was a very interesting experience. 

I'm still not sure if Inspired is synonymous with EVA, how all the various pieces fit together including We Travel and Go Vision, and who is responsible for exactly what part of the trip, and I can tell you I am not alone in this and that the trip also reflected this as it was often hard to know whose role was what and at various times seemed like no one was responsible or taking the lead.  At best communication was lacking and the bulk of it took place on a bus with whomever was talking standing upfront and was hard for everyone to hear at the back.  Often times not everyone was on the same page.   

For the most part I enjoyed myself but there was WAY too much idle time. And that is not the same thing as spare time. It is time wasted doing nothing and that is not pleasurable. I have been to Africa before and understand there is a lot of time spent waiting for meals or even a drink - like an hour to 2 hours - so that is not what I am talking about. I am saying that since this is a given, (and since so much time is spent sitting on buses) this additional time spent "waiting" and doing nothing should be avoided/ at least minimized in every other area possible.  Three (3) examples which immediately come to mind are  1) the entire volunteering/chicken coup 2-day project. There was one saw and one shovel for 14 people, not including the guys who were there doing most of the work, which meant at any given time the rest of us were sitting around idle- for 2 (?) days. Had that entire project been better organized we could absolutely have done the whole thing in one day and probably even a half of day. Had the group not been so pleasant and friendly to talk to and hang out with, it would have been awful.  It was basically a waste of time and several felt this way, whether they share it or not. The other volunteer project -with the plants was a bit better but if continued, absolutely warn people to take a mask as the dust when sweeping was seriously incredible and again I'm not alone on this.  2) Another "idle" time which irked us all was the last night in Tanzania when we had our good-bye dinner. They told us meet at 3pm in the afternoon, and when we got there nothing was prepared at all. They then told us the dinner was at 7pm. Only when they saw us all completely dismayed did they find a way to bring us some drinks an hour or hour and a half later.  It truly seemed like they were not expecting us.  We all wished we had had the extra time to ourselves doing whatever we had been doing up until 3pm.  Eventually the food came and we had a nice dinner but the wait was unacceptable and not necessary. And, no one seemed to know what was happening.   3)   Probably the worst "idle" time which I'm still upset about is when we arrived in Zanzibar.  We were delayed 7 1/2 hours in the airport but ok, things happen. However, you would think that after all that, by the time we got to the hotel that our rooms would be ready, but it couldn't have been further from the case. We waited I think 1-2 hours by the desk waiting to know what was going on. Nobody told us. Finally, we went next door to get some dinner. By the time we came back, our rooms STILL were not ready. I'm sorry but Filipina was at the hotel the entire day from the early morning, and this should have been smoothed out before we got there.  That was just the beginning of what went wrong with the Zanzibar piece.... 

I'm sure you know about the no electricity, no water, no ac, no fan, no power to charge our phones or power banks....and/but, I'm understanding I had it the worst and I am still upset about it. I had paid additionally for my own room, an additional $250 for that week - and had the worst room - not because the island had no electricity - because they did most of the time...the hotel next to us did I believe the entire time... but I was told by the management that my particular building  - Tropicana -Room 46 - was the worst and had the outages longer than anyone else (the electricity was off more of the week than it was on for sure.)  So I slept with the doors open, listening to the mosquitos buzzing around my ears while sleeping, with no net, blowing out my charger with sparks flying, with no water or lights or ac or fan.  It was not fun. Thank goodness for the pools. Only on the last night did they offer to buy us free dinner but I had plans.  Quite frankly, I believe this additional $250 should be covered by EVA  or some part of that due to the circumstances, as it positively went beyond the pale and I'm asking for your consideration regarding that. 

Continuing, the day at Prison Island and Stone Town was basically a bust. The sandbar lunch was good as was the swim but again, when lunch was done we were all ready to leave for over an hour when Filipina and the driver had disappeared and we had to sit around and wait yet again.   Prison Island was very touristy - but I understand maybe we hit a bad day. Okay, maybe.  Stone Town was a huge disappointment to many of us because we never got to see or really experience it. We all wanted to really walk around and never got the chance, and the guide was inexperienced - even Filipina agreed he wasn't good - he was hard to understand, spoke very softly,  and at the end he took us to a huge tourist shop to go shopping which was so opposite what the whole trip was about. I practically ran out of the store and we never got to wander around the little streets or take in the buildings or the vibe.  

Staying on a seaweed covered beach when you're expecting blue sand and clear water was a real disappointment and frankly Page Beach wasn't much better til late in the afternoon.   I understand that you will probably cut Zanzibar out of the Tanzania trip which I think is too bad because on the last night of the cruise dinner we did see there are gorgeous beaches, just further away. That should've been a full day trip on the beach ending with the cruise.  I did by the way have a nice snorkel adventure on a VERY African boat. :) 

The coffee planation was fun. The Chagga people/village/cooking/ dancing was fun.  The food on the entire trip was fine. All of the lodging was fine and Zanzibar was actually a nice hotel, had anything worked for more than an hour but even then you had to wait for coffee in the morning and there were no clean glasses.   

The safari piece was great.  Loved all of it. Still think Johnny - who we all love- should slow down on the road as it's clear he can when he wants to, and I , for one, was holding on for dear life - but that's it. Ellie is great. The lodging(s) was great. The animals were superb.  The balloon ride was fabulous.    

There are several other things I want to write about but I need to stop now and am not sure if this "draft" will disappear so I am going to send it and then continue on another sheet if I can, or email separately with additional last comments.

Suffice to say, again, I am happy I went despite the various criticisms/issues above. I love Africa and will go back but will hopefully find something that is additionally a bit more active physically as I  - and others - missed that as well. I had thought we were going to go on a hike and I believe I read something about canoeing too, but neither of those things happened.*   Would be nice to add a hike inside Kilimanjaro. If you do use Arusha as a home base, exploring that would be wonderful and probably have a bit more to see than Moshi though I did very much enjoy walking around Moshi with another gal on our free day. 

*Other things fell off the itinerary as well which I was quite disappointed about including meeting the Maasai Tribe.  I understand that they're pushy and yet still, even after observing that, was sorely sorry we didn't have the opportunity to get closer to them and learn more about them.  I was also sorry we missed learning about the reusable menstrual pads in the school; I was really looking forward to that as I had known nothing about that til reading it on the itinerary.

 I need to stop now as I am still - one week later - very jet lagged.

EVA Travel - Tanzania February 2026

An excellent itinerary mixing cultural immersion, give back, safari and beach. The ladies in the group were fantastic company. There were some accommodation issues but overall all was good!


Our 5 day Safari tour was truly a magnificent, awe inspiring adventure! 
From the fun, informative drivers/guides to the huge amount of wildlife seen is beyond what you imagine. We had a balloon ride over the Serengeti, ate amongst giraffe & zebras, saw Africas big 5 and had so much fun along the way. 
The immersion with local tribal communities, children and volunteering work is educational and rewarding. A must do tour! ❤️

Amazing trip and so inspirational.....left me feeling alive again, wanting to travel more,contribute more,volunteer and feel alive again.

Kim was an absolute rock star of a guide!!! The whole trip was fantastic. The itinerary was thoughtfully crafted with time built in for exploring and down time. Kim is a phenomenal guide -- she's kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. I have nothing but great things to say about her and would recommend her to anyone looking to experience Costa Rica.

Costa Rica Adventure with Women In The Wild

I loved every day of the itinerary! There was so much variety! And traveling with 11 other women made every moment so much fun! We made life-long friendships and we’re already planning how some of us can get together in the months ahead.
But I have to mention the contribution of our OUTSTANDING guide, Kim Hackbarth! Her extensive knowledge of the locations, culture and people of Costa Rica added wonderful insights that we wouldn’t have received otherwise. And Kim added her personal touch to every aspect of the itinerary, from an unexpected stop for empanadas and bird watching to an opportunity to walk behind a waterfall and a guided tour of downtown San Jose including a walk through the marketplace. She met us at the airport at 2 am with a big smile that made it clear to us we were in good hands. She laughed with us, cared for us when we weren’t feeling 💯 and introduced us to the food, people, language and culture of Costa Rica. Thank you for connecting us with such a wonderful guide for an unforgettable adventure!

This trip was amazing! All the ladies in the group were wonderful. Kim, our tour guide, was incredible! Even on our free day, Kim's only day to do her own thing as well, she suggested an outing in which she joined us on! She was so helpful and did great at designing a tour we were sure to love. Would highly recommend this tour to others! 

Catherine at Cathadventure always gives the space for people to breathe and the opportunity to make the most if everything that is on offer. This was a joyous, enriching adventure which I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to widen their horizons 

 I don’t give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ easily because that to me means there is no room for improvement. However Jai Sharma and this tour he created earned every one!  I could tell how much he loves India and its culture. The parts of India that I saw are quite chaotic but learning and seeing from Jai made all the noise blend into the background leaving only interest and beauty. I particularly appreciated how much he cares for such worthy causes such as wildlife sos, Sheroes and TOLFA! All of the local guides he connected me with were wonderful with special thanks going to (sorry I forget his name) my Taj Mahal guide for helping me with my “special” task for my mother.

EVA Travel - India 2025

I had a great time. Matt is a wonderful addition to the crew. Food was fantastic, volunteer responsibilities were very meaningful and all of the little extra things that we do along the way are fabulous. I love mixing with the locals and seeing what kinds of work they do. They work so hard and never complain. We covered a lot of territory and the van was very comfortable and a great way to get around. 

I would definitely recommend this location. Just remember to always have toilet paper in your pockets. and at Atlas Mountain hotel. They really shorted us on TP in all of the rooms, but we managed to scrounge up some. But when traveling abroad, that’s a common issue. 

My only complaint or really constructive feedback, is that I wish you would push to use less plastic or find hotels that had filtered water in the room or at least 5-gallon water bottles to refill ours. I am the only one that didn’t buy or use water from plastic bottles. I brought my own water bottle that filtered water and/or i boiled water in the hotel rooms to drink the following day when that was an option. Morocco doesn’t recycle. They burn the plastic. Thats’ a little disturbing. 

And we didn’t get an EVA blue shirt. One of my favorite colors and I was looking forward to that. Even if we had to pay for it. But that’s definitely not a reason to take away from the trip. It’s more of a memory to share with others while we wear the shirt. 

EVA Travel - Morocco 2025

Wonderful.  Great organization, Sheila our great Leader, constantly checked on us to make sure we're ok and enjoying the experience.
The accommodation, where possible was top notch, 5 star, the very knees of the beez!  And the food was tremendous.  The experiences were life changing.  We've learned many things about Cambodia that will stay with us for ever. It's an emotional tour, but well balanced, with plenty fun injected not to turn it into tragical history tour.
 We lost the odd nights sleep due to daft weather, that can't be helped.  
Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly always open to question and suggestion.  
We've got new friends for life.  
Of course not everything was perfect for everyone, but as overview those small forgettable qualms have already faded from memory.

EVA Travel - Cambodia Oct. 25

This trip is magical and has something rich and rewarding for everyone. Combining the give back 3 day project and exploration of the Imperial cities of Northern Morocco we experienced the communities, the culture and the warmth of the Moroccan people first hand. We started off in Marrakech which is colourful, fast and furious and a little crazy. Our work give back was at a school in Imlil up in the  Atlas Mountains where we renovated the school yard and the toilet block - plastering, painting and stencilling with of course time out to play with the kids, soooo rewarding. We continued our journey to the Agafay desert for our sunset camel ride and the glamping experience, one of the highlights of the trip for me and then onto the port of Essaouria (far to many vowels to ever remember how to spell it correctly) with its hippie vibe and fabulous arts and crafts markets. We spent a morning on the beach - clean up work! and it was great that so many locals thanked us for what we were doing and 3 or 4 even joined us! Of course coffee club is well defined by now and they do have amazing coffee vans plotted up offering specials. Casablanca! Yes in all the gin joints in all the cities in the world who wouldn’t end up in Ricks cafe? Also in Casablanca is the most beautiful Hassan II mosque which welcomes non- Muslims to visit (outside of prayer times). On day 12 we said farewell to our Julie and our Matt who were not joining for the bolt on. I am hoping to travel again with Julie on another EVA tour and a big hug for an am- azing guy Matt. Thanks for looking after us as host and adding fun and funk to our adventures 🤪. So, onto Rabat (go find the book man Mohammed Aziz and google his amazing story) and the beautiful Andalusian gardens. Fes is a madhouse! 9000 winding alleys in a labyrinth that even the locals get lost in. The alleys are so narrow that vehicles cannot access and they use donkeys every day to collect trash from the residences within! We had a wonderful full day tour including food and treats along the way. And so finally to Chefchaouen - the blue city- be ready to take so many photos of the beautiful streets and houses and the views from atop.
So, after my blurb - a big big thank you to Hassan our guide, your energy and humour is infectious and know you work so hard 24/7 to ensure everything goes to plan. Many thanks to our local guides Hisham in Marrakech, Hassamira in Rabat and Zak in Fes - wow! A special shout out to Yiannis our driver who is THE best driver on the road - not just our driver but our companion too who also looked after us well. One more shout out to the Moroccan people - thank you for looking after your many street cats and (but just a few)dogs - I’ve never seen or experienced that before 😻.
Morocco - tick. I wouldn’t hesitate in saying just go! 

The trip was very well organised, included some superb locations and accommodation that exceeded my expectations. 
Matt and the team were fabulous - very efficient, nothing was too much trouble and were fun company too! A great first experience of group travel for me. Would definitely recommend. 

The trip was exceptional!   Loved the vehicle we travelled in.  So much space and comfortable.  
Matt was so compassionate and accommodating to our requests and needs.  
Love Morocco, food was excellent.   Local tour guides in Rabat and Fes were fantastic.   Marrekesh tour guide was to soft spoken and long winded.    Loved our desert night and camel ride but really would have loved to see the Sahara.   

Was a fantastic trip so many wonderful places visited . Beautiful scenery and great guides . Hotels really good and comfortable.   Was a wonderful trip .looking forward to next one .

What a brilliant experience! I loved doing a giveback tour. We worked at the elephant sanctuary and helped make wheelchairs for landmine victims, delivering them to small villages. Also worked with the women's cooperative in Siem Reap, making baskets to sell to tourists. The transport, food and accommodations were fantastic. The tour guides Silong and Mr Narin were excellent.

This tour ran pretty much seamlessly thanks to our lovely guide Niron. The restaurants all served fantastic food and catered for everyone. The stays were good, transfers on time and the packed itinerary meant we saw a lot.  We had a good group who enjoyed ourselves enormously. 

I absolutely loved this trip! It was a great combination of a holiday, citizen science, alongside awesome wildlife encounters. It was also clear that making a difference to the community was central to the ethos of the trip, and we were delighted to support such terrific, kind and dedicated local people on Mafia island. We had such fun and also loved being able to directly get involved in protecting whale sharks and coral reef, even in just a small way. THANK YOU! 

Whale Shark Expedition - 22 October 2025

We enjoyed our trip very much.  Eunice made sure we had great vegan food every day while touring  Madrid and Barcelona.  Gorana and Davor were delightful as tour guides of the primary sites.  Rooms were on the small side, but locations were excellent.  Thanks for hosting!

This was the most incredible trip. Stunning scenery, bountiful wildlife, beautiful camping spots, fabulous food and an amazing group of women (not forgetting the equally amazing staff). There were lots of special little touches along the way as well. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The Matriarch Adventure

A great experience with great people - giving back/volunteering and the school visit were highlights for me as well as the sightseeing. Would definitely recommend to others.   Jane went to extra mile when I hate Visa issues and this was sorted very efficiently - it got a wee bit stressful having my visa rejected and not understanding why. 

Way To Travel - Vietnam 25/26

Incredible !      Wonderful people, both support and trip sharers ...  Very tasty and varied food , catering for all tastes.      Adventure at its best with a fluid itinerary according to circumstances . I loved every moment and would recommend this experience  to whoever would listen to me .............. and to top it all, one of the most beautiful landscapes ever.

What an amazing trip! Unequivocally supported and loved by an amazing group of women - we laughed, talked, cried and laughed some more. Sleeping under the Namibian skies is not to be missed. Watching the wonder of desert elephants in their natural habitats was incredible. Stories and songs round the campfire - nothing more was needed. Loved every second. 

I had the most wonderful time with a fantastic group of people who I had not met before the trip. We were so well looked after, one of the best experience I’ve had

Whale Shark Expedition - 9 October 2025

The whole trip was incredible! One of the very best things I've ever done! We all felt exceptionally lucky to be there - not just with our whale shark encounters, but with the way the whole trip was so thoughtfully put together, and the wonderful friendships made within the group. Ella was a fantastic leader and all the local staff were brilliant. 

I joined the SheClicks Glencoe adventure at the beginning of October 25 - and what an adventure it was! 
Great organisation from the group leaders, Angela and Emily, and a fantastic group of ladies with whom I bonded very quickly. 
The weather was terrible at times , enough to witness the whole Glencoe area left without power or mobile reception, but the hotel responded in a great manner and looked after us. We had to swap Glencoe for the Perthshire area - a proper adventure that could only bring us all together. We got to see leaping salmon in a river there - absolutely amazing, still thinking of this even now. 
The workshop has been fun and inspiring, so I’d definitely recommend it!

I do not give 5 stars easily as this means there is no room for improvement however I cannot think of a single thing I would change about the Matriarch Adventure.   When I look back on my life it is those times that challenged me most that were also the most impactful. This will be one of those times. 
I may have been on the very edge of my comfort zone but Catherine and the EHRA team are of the highest caliber as leaders so I  always felt safe. 
If you want fluffy pillows, hot showers and maid service look elsewhere but if you want a true adventure that leaves you changed in all good ways just do this one! 

An amazing, life changing experience of adventure and creature comforts. Catherine, the trip leader is professional, hugely competent and very caring. Her creativity makes this an unusual and interesting trip that is both challenging and achievable. I am so glad I took the plunge and booked it - that was certainly the hardest part. 

Overall good trip.  Needs a few tweaks.  Communication issues made for some bumps,  stronger local leadership needed for better organization, better consistency with guides (fun vs informative) 
Not all agreed but I liked the accommodations, appropriate for this trip.  I would have liked more volunteering as 1.5 days of 14 seems disingenuous. 
Liked learning from locals about various tribes and their cultures. 
Is there anything to be done about all the driving 2-3 hrs most days one day even 4 hours.? 
Knowing some of these issues are already on the radar and being worked out makes me say I would consider EVA again
Kudos to the staff for going above and beyond to help with lost luggage and a client who had a medical emergency!

Bali Adventure with Women in the Wild

What a wonderful trip! It was packed full of new experiences, and great value for money. The safari was beyond my wildest dreams, but there were many more aspects to this trip. Time spent with tribes-people, learning their customs, a walk to a stunning waterfall, volunteering in a children's centre, the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar. Nothing was too much trouble for our guides, drivers and tour leader, who all went above and beyond to ensure we experienced the real Tanzania. I travelled alone, but sharing these experiences in a small group meant that I now have new friends for life.

Although there were a few bumps in the road overall it was a great trip.   Lots of fun activities and amazing safaris.   The accommodations were good and food fantastic.  

I have just returned from a 17 day adventure filled trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. Not only did I meet 11 wonderful like-minded women , but I made some lifelong friends. The trip itself took us to many unforgettable places  including a wonderful center for orphaned children in the town of Moshi. Here we spent 2 days and interacted with the young children and repainted an outdoor fence and  planted some trees. From out hotelnin Moshi, Kilimanjaro was in sight! We visited Masai and Chugga villages, where we learned about their traditional way of life, the process to make coffee and were entertained and fed by the locals. We spent 5vdays on 3 safaris in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire. These safaris  were beyond amazing and so far above my expectations. We saw 4 of the big 5 as well as zebras, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, pelucans and other numerous birds.
In Zanzibar we visited a Spice farm, spent time on Paje beach and visited Stone Town and Prison Island. It was a great ending to our trip and a chance to decompress and process all the wonderful memories we made.

We had an amazing give-back/volunteer project and tour with an excellent, caring guide, eye-opening safaris and other astounding experiences, delicious food, and fabulous beaches. Gratefully, all well administered and organised!

This is my first time going to Africa and it’s gonna be hard to beat. There was so many highlights to the trip. It’s hard to say there was only one. Between the Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater it’s a tie!! Philippina and the guides, Ellie and Johnny were amazing. Johnny kept out spirits high with laughter, singing, and being right up front to see any animal we asked about. Ellie was a wealth of information and a kind soul Philapina The trip would not have been as good without them. I did also love my time in Zanzibar for my add-on. The dinner cruise was a great way to It all off. The staff was always helpful and I took full advantage of the massages that were available right there. The spice store was delightful and I took an extra jaunt off to Kuza cave for swimming and a Swahili cooking class. I even snuck in a visit to the Columbus monkeys for a few hours before I took off on my flight home. Stonetown and the prison island tour was wonderful. I love turtles and tortoises of all kinds, so it was amazing to see them as well as to learn the long history of that area and all that it’s been through. I’ve signed up for two more of your tours, including Borneo, Uganda, and Rwanda and hope to be putting Namibia down on the book soon.

From the moment we arrived, this safari trip exceeded every expectation. It wasn't just about spotting the Big Five (though we were lucky enough to see them all!) — it was a rich, immersive journey that combined the breathtaking beauty of Africa’s wildlife with the depth and warmth of its people and traditions.

Our guides were not only incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystems, but also deeply passionate about sharing their culture. Each game drive felt like a masterclass in natural history, with close-up views of elephants, lions, giraffes, and so much more — all respectfully observed in their natural habitat. But what truly made this trip unforgettable were the cultural visits woven throughout the experience.

We had the rare privilege of visiting local villages, understanding local tribes and seeing work that is being done to protect farms and empower local woman. These experiences that felt authentic, not staged. 

The accommodations were brilliant — comfortable, good food as well as being  environmentally conscious, and away from any crowds.

Truly a holiday of a lifetime hosted by Bea and her team who looked after us all, as a group and individuals brilliantly.
