About this trip

Hey Wild Women! - Let's go to Canada!

This winter escape to Yellowknife invites us to slow down, connect with nature, and witness the magic of the northern lights together.

Hosted by Kayla and created for adventurous, curious women, we’ll snowshoe through peaceful Arctic forests, meet friendly sled dogs, explore Yellowknife’s creative Old Town, and gather each night beneath shimmering aurora skies, sharing warmth, sisterhood, and unforgettable moments in the wild.

During our time there, a new moon will grace the skies, and on February 6th, 2027 an annular solar eclipse will coincide with this darker lunar phase, creating exceptionally deep night skies, a rare backdrop that may enhance our aurora borealis experience.

Yellowknife is known as one of the best places in the world to view the northern lights, especially in winter when the long, clear nights provide ideal conditions for unforgettable celestial displays.

In the evening, we’ll gather together and transfer to our first night at the aurora camp at Aurora Village. We’ll wrap ourselves in warm layers, settle into cosy tee-pees, listen to Indigenous stories around the fire, and gaze up at the dancing northern lights.
